Firework Discharge Restrictions in Place
This is a reminder, because of a result of extreme fire danger along our mountain interface and our west wetland area, Lindon City has a permanent fireworks and open fire restriction in place. These areas include all land west of Interstate 15 within the Lindon City limits, including the Lindon Marina. This also includes all “Undeveloped Land” within the City Limits as well as all City Parks. On the east side of town restrictions include all areas within an approximate distance of 500 feet from the foothills and U.S. Forest Service or BLM lands. This includes the Dry Canyon Trailhead and the 1200 East Horse Transfer Station. It was decided that in the interest of clarity, these boundaries would be drawn using existing city roads which are at least 500 feet from designated lands. Restriction warning signs will be posted near the border of restricted areas. Please help us all to be safe and to protect our beautiful natural environment and watershed. Please reference the maps below for exact boundaries.2014 Lindon City foothills fireworks restriction map
