Setting Up Your New Household
Lindon City provides water, sewer, garbage, and secondary water (lawn and garden) to the residents. The services are billed at the beginning of each month and the bills are due at the end of each month. To sign up for these services come in to the Lindon City office at 100 N. State St. The Lindon City Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Water and Sewage Your billing date will be on the last day of each month, and your bill will reflect the previous month's charges. The meter is read 5 times yearly, every other month in the summer (March, May, July, September and November). For those times when the meter is read, you will be billed for any water used from the last meter reading. For the other months when the meter is not read, you will be billed an average for water. Your sewer rate is based on your winter consumption of culinary water, and this rate will begin with your April bill, which you will receive during the first week of May. The sewer rate will then remain the same until the following spring when it is recalculated.

Garbage Pick-Up Garbage removal is provided through a contract services through Allied Waste. The pick-up schedule is once a week on Wednesdays. For more information call B.F.I. at 785-5935 or Lindon City Center at 785-5043.
Recycling
Lindon City now offers recycling services! The cost is only $4.44 per month per can. Call Sherrie at the City Center for information or to sign up!
