Questar Project Update
Questar Gas is replacing a gas line on State Street in Lindon through to Pleasant Grove. This work is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of the system. No interruption to residents natural gas service is anticipated during this project. During construction crews will make every effort to maintain traffic flow in both directions on affected streets, but temporary lane restrictions and closures can be expected. Crews will work diligently to maintain access to businesses, driveways and sidewalks.

Open Burn March 30th - May 30th
The Lindon City Council recognized Don Peterson who has been Lindon's Public Works Director for 32 years. Nearly every aspect of the City's utilities, streets, trails, cemetery, and park systems have been developed or improved during Dons tenure at the City. We thank him for his service! The City is holding a retirement open house for Don on Friday, April 29th from noon until 2pm at the Lindon City Center offices.
Lindon Community Preparedness Fair
The Lindon Community Preparedness Fair will be held this Saturday April 30th at the Lindon City Center Park, 200 North State Street, 10 AM to 4 PM.

Notice: Secondary Water
Lindon’s pressurized secondary water for sprinkling systems is typically turned on in mid-to-late April (depending on rainfall and delivery of water from canal companies). Please remember to conserve water by limiting sprinkling times and that there's no watering permitted between the hours of 10 am to 6 pm.
Lindon City Arbor Day Celebration
The 2016 Lindon City Arbor Day Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Lindon Community Center. This year we will be celebrating our 11th consecutive year as a Tree City USA qualifying municipality. Come celebrate with us at the Lindon Community Center from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. There will be donuts, free drawings, a photo scavenger hunt drawing for $50, kids coloring contest drawing for $50, demonstrations, correct tree planting information as well as the ceremonial planting of the 2016 Arbor Day Tree. Hope to see you all there!
NOTICE: Lindon 200 South Road Closure & Detour Maps
Lindon City will be replacing an old water line along 200 South from approximately 1250 West to 1500 West. See attached map for details of detour routes for two planned road closures along 200 South. Construction will begin in approximately the first week in April and should end by mid-May. Businesses will receive a door hanger giving notice of planned water shut offs during construction.
Please inform delivery & truck drivers, employees, and others that may frequent your businesses or commonly use this route. Thanks for your patience during this project. If you have unscheduled water outages during the project or concerns that need immediate attention during construction, contact Skip Dunn & Sons Excavating at 801-226-0359.
City Center & Aquatics Center Parking Construction
The City Center & Aquatics Center parking lot is under construction due to the new Public Safety Building being built. 60 North roadway between State Street & Main Street will be closed and the parking lot reconfigured. Parking will be available in the lower City Center parking lot (Enter from State Street) or at the Community Center parking lot (25 North Main St.). Thanks for your patience during the construction! Drug Take Back Day
April 30th is the day to clean out any unused medications in your medicine cabinet! Please bring in any old, dangerous, and no longer needed prescription drugs to be destroyed safely and to keep them off of our city streets, and out of our schools. The drop off location will be at the Lindon Walmart, 585 North State Street from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Click here for more information.
Project ChildSafe is a nationwide program whose purpose is to promote safe firearms handling and storage practices among all firearms owners through the distribution of key safety education messages and free gun locking devices. FREE gunlocks are now available at the Lindon City Police Department.
