Special Joint Session March 17, 2004 Minutes

The Lindon City Council and the Lindon City Planning Commission held a special joint meeting on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lindon City Center, City Council Chambers, at 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah.

Jeff Acerson, Councilmember
Bruce Carpenter, Councilmember
H. Toby Bath, Councilmember
Ron Anderson, Commissioner
Julie Bryner, Commissioner
Gary Godfrey, Commissioner
Evan Nixon, Commissioner (left at 8:06 p.m.)
Jim Peters, Commissioner (arrived at 8:16 p.m.)
Ott Dameron, City Administrator
Kevin Smith, Planning Director
Mark Christensen, City Engineer
Gordon Duval, City Attorney
Venla Gubler, Administrative Clerk

ABSENT

Lindsey Bayless, Councilmember
Jerald Hatch, Councilmember
Marilyn Simister, Commissioner

The meeting began at 7:11 p.m.


CURRENT BUSINESS

1. Executive Session - Property Acquisition. The City Council and Planning Commission will meet privately for the purpose of discussing the acquisition of real property.

Councilmember Acerson welcomed the members of the Council, Planning Commission and staff.
COUNCILMEMBER ACERSON MOVED TO CLOSE THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND CONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 7:12 P.M. COUNCILMEMBER CARPENTER SECONDED THE MOTION. ALL PRESENT VOTED IN FAVOR. THE MOTION CARRIED.


(Mayor Ellertson arrived at 7:12 p.m. He conducted the balance of the meeting.)


COUNCILMEMBER CARPENTER MOVED TO CLOSE THE EXECUTIVE SESSION AND ADJOURN THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT 8:57 P.M. COUNCILMEMBER BATH SECONDED THE MOTION. ALL PRESENT VOTED IN FAVOR. THE MOTION CARRIED.
