NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE
LINDON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in the Council Room of Lindon City Hall, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. The agenda will consist of the following items:

1. Call to Order

4. Site Plan – Strasburg Automotive Machine – 468 North 1200 West (20 minutes)
This is a request by Strasburg Automotive Machine for approval of a building addition between two existing structures in the LI zone. The new addition will be used in conjunction with the existing business on the site and will be a steel building with a stucco wainscot. Some new landscaping and parking reconfiguration is also proposed at the site.
5. Site Plan – Cardon Landscaping – 188 South 1800 West (20 minutes)
This is a request by Brent Cardon for approval of a storage building in the LI zone. The structure was constructed on the site prior to receiving approval by the Planning Commission, but the applicant plans to add a stucco wainscot to the exterior in order to meet the LI zone architectural standards.
6. Concept Review for new Site Plan – Lindon City Aquatics Facility – 100 North State Street (60 minutes)
This is a request by Lindon City and VCBO Architecture for a preliminary review of the site plan and architectural elevations of the proposed aquatics facility at the Lindon City Center Park in a PF zone. No motions will be made on this concept review.
7. Work Session: Discussion of proposed Commercial Design Guidelines revisions (45 minutes)
This work session will consist of reviewing proposed changes to the Lindon City Commercial Design Guidelines as recommended by the Design Guidelines Committee that has been meeting over the last several months. Feedback on the proposed changes will be received, but no motion will be made.
8. Work Session: Discussion of proposed Overlay zone for the CG zone (25 minutes)
This work session will consist of reviewing proposed changes to a portion of the CG zone by creating a new Overlay zone that exempts certain CG areas along 600 South from some of the commercial standards typically required along State Street and 700 North. A discussion on this concept will take place, but no motion will be made.
