NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE
LINDON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the Council Room of Lindon City Hall, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. The agenda will consist of the following items:

1. Call to Order
2. Approval of Minutes
3. Public Comment (Review times are estimates only.)
4. Annual review of Group Home facility: Housing Authority of Utah County – 365 E. 400 N. (15 minutes)
This is a required annual review of a group home owned by the Housing Authority of Utah County. The facility was approved to provide housing for up to three physically disabled adults. No changes are proposed to the facility as this is only a review of the current use to ensure conformance with City Code and conditions of approval.
5. Annual review of Group Home facility: Lindon Care & Training Center – 680 N. State Street (15 minutes)
This is a required annual review of a group home for disabled adults owned by RHA Community Services of Utah. The facility provides housing for multiple tenants. No changes are proposed to the facility as this is only a review of the current use to ensure conformance with City Code.
6. Concept Review: Williamson Lot – 148 S. 800 W. (25 minutes)
This is a request by Paul Washburn for review of a concept plan for a new office/warehouse building to be located in the LI zone. Of specific review will be the proposed access and frontage of the property.
7. Public Hearing: Major Subdivision – Lakeside Business Park – approximately 1411 W. 260 S. (30 minutes)
This is a request by Sunquest Development for approval of their proposed revised subdivision located in the LI zone. Sunquest Development’s original 8-lot industrial subdivision layout was approved last year. Through some reconfigurations and property exchanges with an adjacent land owner, it is felt that this new 6-lot industrial subdivision layout would be to everyone’s benefit. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.
8. Public Hearing: Minor Subdivision - Mehlhoff Subdivision – approximately 572 N. 800 E. (30 minutes)
This is a request by Trent Mehlhoff for approval of his proposed flag lot subdivision located in the R1-12 zone. Mr. Mehlhoff is proposing to develop his 4.47 acre vacant property located east of Squaw Hollow Debris Basin Park. Mr. Mehlhoff will be platting one developable lot. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.
9. Public Hearing: Ordinance amendments – LCC Sections 17.18, 17.44.130, 17.45.070, 17.46.090, 17.46.100(1)(c), 17.47.050,
17.48.020, and 17.50.090 (25 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of proposed changes to Lindon City’s off-street parking ordinance, various parking standards, and parking references found in LCC Appendix A (Standard Land Use Table). Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.
