NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE
LINDON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION


The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the Council Room of Lindon City Hall, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. The agenda will consist of the following items:

1. Call to Order
2. Approval of Minutes
3. Public Comment (Review times are estimates only.)

4. Concept Review: BMA Construction – Old Station Square, Lots 11 & 12 (30 minutes)
This is a request by Brigham Ashton for review of a concept plan located in the CG zone at approximately State Street and 200 North. This concept will include lot design and propose minimizing retaining wall length of the Lindon Heritage Trail on the west side of State Street.

5. Public Hearing: Minor Subdivision – Lakeview Industrial Park Plat D – 468 N. 1200 W. (15 minutes)
This is a request by Lindsay Strasbury for approval of a Minor Subdivision in the L-I zone. The applicant is proposing to combine lot 11 of Lakeview Industrial Park Plat A with the adjacent Strasbury property to create lot 27. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.

6. Public Hearing: Ordinance amendments – LCC Sections 17.14, 17.10.080, 17.12.090, 17.16.100, 17.12.080, 17.46.040, 17.46.090, 17.46.100, 17.68.050, and 17.68.070 (45 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of proposed changes to ordinances dealing with noticing. The proposed changes will include adding a new section (17.14) and revisions to the others listed above. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.

7. Public Hearing: Ordinance amendments – LCC Sections 17.24.170, 17.44.140, 17.48.100, 17.49.070, 17.49.080, 17.50.080, 17.56.120 (10 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of proposed updates to multiple ordinance sections pertaining to UBC (Uniform Building Code) and IBC (International Building Code) building code references. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.

8. Public Hearing: Ordinance amendment – Appendix A (Standard Land Use Table) (25 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of various land use changes and added provisions to allow the Planning Director to require a public hearing before the Planning Commission for unusual or unique ‘permitted uses.’ Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.

9. Public Hearing: Ordinance amendments – LCC Section 17.32.320 (25 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of proposed changes to the flag lot ordinance. This change would include exemption from ‘width to depth’ ratios and possible revisions to driveway standards. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will be made to the City Council for final approval.
