NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE
LINDON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2007 in the Council Room of Lindon City Hall, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. The agenda will consist of the following items:
AGENDA
Invocation: By Invitation
Pledge of Allegiance: By Invitation
1. Call to Order
2. Approval of Minutes
3. Public Comment (Review times are estimates only.)
4. Major Subdivision / Public Hearing – Sweeten Subdivision – Approx. 40 South 450 West (30 minutes)
This is a request by Dustin Sweeten for approval of a 5-lot subdivision in the R1-20 zone. Two lots currently have dwellings on them, so only 3 new building lots will be part of this subdivision. This request consists of an extension of the 450 West roadway and cul-de-sac.
5. Design Review – Hatfieldadelphia (Reception Center) and possible vacation of Main Street at ~ 130 S. Main St. (60 minutes)
This is a request by Ron Hatfield to discuss his intent to use his existing home and grounds in the CG zone as a commercial reception center. A new site plan application would be required as part of the ‘commercialization’ of the existing property. He would also like to discuss the possibility of vacating a portion of Main Street where it connects with State Street – and installing a cul-de-sac instead of a through street. No official action will be taken on these issues as this is a Design Review only.
6. Discussion Item – Manufacturing Uses in the Standard Land Use Table (20 minutes)
Upon request of the Planning Commission, this is a discussion of manufacturing uses as listed in the Standard Land Use Table. Currently, several indoor manufacturing activities are permitted only by issuance of a conditional use permit and there have been some discussions of permitting small-scale, indoor manufacturing uses that have no adverse impacts without the need for a CUP. No motion will be made on this item.
7. Annual Planning Commission training session (30 minutes)
This is an annual opportunity for the Planning Commission members to receive & discuss training on various land use topics and procedural items. Topics such as ethics, State land use updates to LUDMA, meeting procedures, etc. may be discussed.
8. New Business (Reports by Commissioners)
9. Planning Director Report
