NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE
LINDON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 in the Council Room of Lindon City Hall, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. The agenda will consist of the following items:

4. Continued Item - Site Plan: Experience Dental Lab - 239 North 290 West (25 minutes)
This item was continued from the July 11th Planning Commission meeting and is a request by BMA Construction for approval of a site plan for a proposed 4,300 sq/ft dental lab in the CG zone – within the Old Station Square commercial subdivision. The Commission asked for revised building elevations that would more appropriately meet the Commercial Design Guidelines and also asked that the proposed fencing along the west property line to be submitted for review.
5. Continued Item - Site Plan: Beesmark Office building – 195 North 290 West (25 minutes)
This item was continued from the July 11th Planning Commission meeting and is a request by BMA Construction for review of a site plan for a multi-unit, two-story office complex in the CG zone – within the Old Station Square commercial subdivision. The Commission asked for clarification of colors and details on the building elevations and also asked that the proposed fencing along the west & south property lines be submitted for review.
6. Concept Review: Carter Property Line – 295 East Center Street (20 minutes)
This is a request by Mike & Dorothy Carter for a concept review of a proposed lot line adjustment to a non-conforming lot in the
R1-20 zone.
7. Site Plan Review: Johnson Professional Office Building – 239 West 400 North (25 minutes)
This is a request by Mark and Steve Johnson for approval of a site plan for a professional office building. It will be used as an accountant’s office, which is a permitted use in the CG zone.
8. Public Hearing: Revocation of Conditional Use Permit – Indian Oil Company – 1155 West 135 South (45 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) that was issued for the Indian Oil Company in the LI zone. The City has received information regarding safety hazards at the facility and Orem City has recently held proceedings with the business regarding illegal sewer discharges into the sewer system. These items are in violation of City standards and Staff recommends revocation of the CUP. This item will be forwarded to the City Council for final review.
9. Public Hearing: LCC 17.70 (Group Homes) and 17.72 (Care Facilities) (30 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of proposed changes to the Group Homes and Care Facilities ordinances (LCC 17.70 & 17.72). The City Attorney has made some changes since it was last reviewed by the Planning Commission on April 25, 2007. Suggested recommendations will be forwarded to the City Council for final review.
