NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE
LINDON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in the Council Room of Lindon City Hall, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. The agenda will consist of the following items:

3. Public Comment (Review times are estimates only.)



4. Design Review – Lazy TA Ranch LLC (Moore Cabinet Shop) – 123 East 200 South (25 minutes)
This is a request by Vonda Skousen of Lazy TA Ranch LLC, for a discussion of proposed parking lot improvements on a vacant lot on State Street (just south of Diamond Glass). The owners desire to utilize the vacant lot for parking in association with the existing cabinet shop at 123 E. 200 S., but are seeking relief from having to fully improve the parking lot at this time. No motion will be made on this issue as it is a discussion item only.

5. Discussion Item: LCC 17.70 (Group Homes) and 17.72 (Care Facilities) (45 minutes)
This is a City initiated review of proposed changes to the Group Homes and Care Facilities ordinances (LCC 17.70 & 17.72). The City Attorney has provided suggested ordinance changes for review and feedback by the Planning Commission. Suggested recommendations will be compiled for review in future public hearings with the Planning Commission and City Council. No motion will be made on this issue as it is a discussion item only.

6. Discussion Item: Defining and regulating use of shipping containers as storage buildings (15 minutes)
This is a City initiated discussion of shipping containers being used for storage buildings within the City. The Planning Commission will discuss the current uses of these containers and whether the City should regulate the future use of the containers as permanent structures within all zones. Recommendations to the City Council for possible ordinance changes may occur from this discussion. No motion will be made on this issue as it is a discussion item only.
