Eric Anthony, City Council Representative

I grew up in Provo and attended junior high and high school in Orem. Later I graduated in business from BYU and received an MBA degree from the University of Utah. I’ve worked at Flowserve Inc. for more than 25 years.

Linda and I were married in 1981 and moved to Lindon in 1995. We have 5 children, 1 son-in-law, and 1 grandson.

I have loved trees all of my life and have planted more than 40 trees in my Lindon yard. My dad inspired my love of trees. Together we've planted hundreds of trees through the years. Our first big effort at creating a forest came in 1968. My dad (named Forest...also my first name) bought several acres of property in Provo. The property included a sandy hillside. We purchased more than 50 Austrian Pine trees and planted them on the hill. My dad explained that the Austrian Pines tended to be more drought resistant and would be a great choice for the area. After nearly 40 years there are still many of the pine trees on the hillside; they create a beautiful environment.
