NOTICE OF MEETING
FOR THE
LINDON CITY COUNCIL

It is hereby given that the Lindon City Council will hold a regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 in the Lindon City Center, City Council Chambers, at 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following:

PRESENTATIONS
1. The Strawberry Days Royalty will make a presentation to the Mayor and City Council.
2. The Elementary School Teachers who received education grants from the city have been invited to report to the Mayor and City Council on the use of the funds.


MINUTES - The minutes of the regular meeting of May 2, 2006 and the special meeting of May 3, 2006 will be reviewed. - 5 minutes

CONSENT AGENDA - No Items

CURRENT BUSINESS

1. Public Hearing - Zoning Map Amendment Request. This is a request by Tim Lunt of TL Custom Counter Tops to change the zoning of property located at approximately 800 North 2800 West from CG (Commercial General) to MC (Mixed Commercial). The Planning Commission recommended approval with no conditions. - 15 minutes
2. Preliminary Plat - Lindon Business Park Industrial Subdivision, “Phase III.” This is a request by Larry McColm and Russ Naylor for preliminary subdivision approval of Lindon Business Park Industrial Subdivision, Phase III, 1 lot, in the LI zone at 88 North 1550 West. The Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions. - 30 minutes
3. Review and Action - Conditional Use Permit - DCD Recycle (Dunn Construction Company, LC). This is a re-hearing of Mike Dunn’s request for approval of a conditional use permit for a concrete/asphalt crushing operation at 1470 West 300 South. The City Council first heard this item on February 7, 2006. The request was denied, but Mr. Dunn was allowed to return to the Council with more information. -60 minutes
4. Review and Action - Bid Award - 400 North Waterline Replacement - 200 East to 600 East. This is a request by staff for Council’s consideration of the bid award for the replacement of a section of the 400 North water line from 200 East to 600 East. Bids were properly advertised and received for this project, and the low bidder is Kriser Excavation at the price of $315, 675.75. Staff recommends awarding the bid to Kriser Excavation. - 10 minutes
