It is hereby given that the Lindon City Council will hold a special meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in the Lindon City Center, City Council Chambers, at 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following:

CURRENT BUSINESS
1. Review and Action - Reconsideration of Bid Award - 200 East Street from 400 North to North Union Canal Crossing. This is a request by the Mayor and Council for reconsideration of the bid award for the rehabilitation of 200 East street from 400 North to the crossing of the North Union Canal. The Council considered this bid award during its meeting of October 3, 2006. Since that meeting, cost estimates for asphalt have fallen dramatically. Considerable savings may be realized by delaying the bid until the Spring of 2007. The Notice of Award was not delivered to the single bidder due to this new information coming to light. - 5 minutes
