Landscape Maintenance Contract

Lindon City is issuing an RFP (Request for Proposal) asking qualified firms to submit proposals to provide Lindon City with maintenance of all city parks and landscaped city land parcels. The City has approximately 55 acres of these properties. Firms will be evaluated on several criteria including cost, quality of product and service, availability, equipment inventory, personnel qualifications, and warranties. Firms should address each of these criteria in their proposals. A minimum of 3 references are required. Proof of license, bonding, and insurance will also be required.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Lindon Community Center at 25 North Main Street, Lindon Utah.  This meeting will be held to discuss the requirements of the RFP and to answer questions from contractors. Firms wishing to propose on this contract must be represented at this conference.

Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 (Lindon offices will be closed the 27 & 28 for Thanksgiving Holiday) at the Lindon City Center, 100 North State Street, Lindon Utah. Proposals will only be accepted from firms that attend the pre-proposal conference on Monday, November 10, 2014. Interviews with qualified firms will be held after the proposals have been reviewed. The selectee will be asked to enter a long term contract with Lindon City for these services. There are many hills in Lindon. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the proposer to verify all acreage and square footage, especially for hills and valleys.

Contact the Parks and Recreation Director, Heath Bateman at 801-769-8625 or the Parks Superintendent, Wade Webb at 801-769-8635 with questions.

Lindon City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals for any part of any proposal if it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
