2017 Arbor Day Celebration


The Lindon City Tree Advisory Committee is excited to announce the 2017 Lindon City Arbor Day Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Lindon View Park!  This year we will be celebrating our 12th consecutive year as a Tree City USA qualifying municipality. Come celebrate with us from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. 

There will be tree planting opportunities for everyone as well as the ceremonial planting of the 2017 Arbor Day Tree.  We hope to see you all there!Image result for arbor day
 

Parks


Lindon City has five full facility parks available for rental, in addition to a number of other neighborhood parks.
Pavilions can be reserved Monday through Saturday.  Reservations are not taken for Sundays.


Rental Fees for City Parks:

Resident: $25.00 for ½ day
From 10:00 am to 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 to 10:00 p.m.
$50.00 all day - From 10:00 am to 10:00 p.m.

Non Residents: $40.00 for ½ day
From 10:00 am to 3:30  p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
$80.00 all day - From 10:00 am to 10:00 p.m.


Please call (801) 769-8625 or go to the Lindon Community Center (25 N. Main) to make a reservation, sign an agreement, and pay for the rental of one of our parks, The Veterans Hall, or the City Center.

Tree Pruning and Care


Did you know that many of the trees located in the streetscapes throughout the city are the property of Lindon City? Click here for information regarding proper procedures to follow regarding City owned trees.   
Parks Snow Plow Priority List

Priority during a snow storm is given in the following order if over 1" of snow is on the ground or if the parking lots/trails are slippery.


1.  Snow Plowing of the City Center sidewalks and parking lot.
2.  Community Center sidewalks and parking lots.
3.  Heritage Trail.
4.  Veterans Hall parking lot.
5.  Other walking trails (parks, connectors, etc.).
6.  Parks parking lots.
