The small claims court of Lindon is designated to settle legal issues and problems arising from contractual or service disputes or other claims which do not exceed $7,500. Small claims court allows an individual or business to be compensated by a party who has not performed according to an agreement. A small claims case must be filed in the court where the defendant resides or where the claim arose. Depending on the circumstances this may be the justice court or the district court.
