2008 Little Miss Lindon Royalty

The Little Miss Lindon Pageant has been a Lindon tradition since 1986. The pageant was started by Colleen McMillan, wife of the Lindon city mayor at the time, for Lindon girls ages 11-13. The program, now in it's twenty-first year, helps these young women by building self esteem, developing talents and serving the community. The pageant started as a spark and grew into a flame that continues to spread throughout the city because of the service of our Little Miss Lindon Royalty, contestants, and their families. During the pageant, each contestant completes a community service project of her own choosing.
Congratulations to the 2008 - 2009 Little Miss Lindon Royalty:
"Plant Love, Harvest Happiness"
Little Miss Lindon - Calee Gardner Attendants - Breanna Pennock, Hannah Earl, Jenna Southard, Kaela Wittingham
When we serve others, share our talents, help someone, or do a good deed, we plant a seed that can grow and spread and leave a harvest of happiness for others to enjoy. One person can make a difference:
"A happy person makes a happy home. A happy home promotes a happy neighborhood. Such a neighborhood affects a city which in turn inspires a state. A happy state touches a nation. A happy nation helps create a happy world. So being a happy person is the most important thing in the world."
We are hoping to spread this cheerful theme in eveything we do.
