Notice: Secondary Water

Warning:  Lindon City pressurized irrigation, or secondary water system which provides irrigation water to most of the city is untreated screened but not filtered or disinfected water from the Provo River that is then conveyed 6 miles by the Provo Bench and North Union Irrigation Canal Companies to the four Lindon City Irrigation Basins before the water enters the pressurized irrigation system. It is only meant to be used for outdoor watering such as landscape and lawns.  “DO NOT” drink from a secondary water connection, use the water to fill swimming pools, and do not connect the secondary system to the culinary water system in any way.  Cross-connections have the potential to contaminate your home drinking water and the city’s culinary water system! REPORT ANY CROSS-CONNECTIONS YOU OBSERVE so that we can keep our drinking water safe.
