Councilmember Vacancy Appointment

Attached is the City Councilmember Vacancy Appointment Application. Councilmember Matt Bean had taken a leave of absence earlier this year and has resigned from the Council creating a vacancy that needs to be filled this calendar year. The term of office for the appointment will only last about a month and a half whereupon the position will be filled by whomever is elected in the 2019 municipal general election for this city councilmember seat.  It is anticipated that the selected individual will participate in approximately three regularly scheduled City Council meetings during this appointment.
