Lindon City Right-of-Way Encroachment Permit

Instructions
  1. Download the encroachment permit
  2. Fill out the information in the three (3) boxed areas on the first page of the permit, i.e.:
    • Project info
    • Contractor info
    • Work info
  3. Review and agree to Lindon City Code Section 12.16 "Excavations"
  4. Sign and date the permit where it says "Contractor Signature" on both pages.
  5. Provide all additional documents listed under Required Documents section of the permit, i.e.
    • Map(s) of public utilities
    • Construction plan(s)
    • Traffic Control plan(s)
    • Proof of current Utah State Contractor's License (E100).
    • Proof of Comprehensive General Liability Insurance of not less than:
      • One million dollars ($1,000,000) for any one occurrence and 
      • Two million dollars ($2,000,000) aggregate
  6. Attach the completed, signed permit application and all associated documents and e-mail them to dbrassfield@lindoncity.org
Once received, the City will then review the permit and either ask for more information or determine the information is complete. When the permit is judged to be complete, the City will determine the appropriate bond amount, sign the permit, and inform the Contractor. The Contractor is then required to submit the bond amount to the City.
