Fall leaf pick-up program begins

Details: Fall has arrived and the Lindon Leaf Away Program has begun! City crews will come around and collect bagged leaves November 1st through the 30th. Please put bags behind the sidewalks in front of your home. Bags must contain only leaves, please do not put household garbage, landscape material or garden waste in with the leaves. Bags containing anything other than leaves will be marked with an X and left behind. Leaves and other waste can be dropped at the North Point Solid Waste Special Service District for a small fee (2000 N 200 S Lindon) or at the dumpster locations listed below.

You may use your own bags or free bags are available for pick up at the City Center (100 N. State St.) or at the Public Works Building located at 946 W. Center St.  All of our efforts to collect leaves helps to keep our storm drains clean and clear and to avoid flooding issues. 

In coordination with the Fall Leaf Pick Up Program, the annual City-Wide Fall Clean-up will be held November 8th – 18th  Dumpsters will be available at the following locations for disposal of fall leaf bags and garden waste. We would encourage you to take your leaf bags to the dumpsters as crews only come periodically to collect the bagged leaves.

  • Public Works Bldg. – 946 West Center
  • Hollow Park – 300 East 400 North
  • Lindon View Park – 350 North 780 East
  • Pheasant Brook Park – 400 North 800 West
